ARRL has declared 2009 the Year of the State QSO Party in order to promote the smaller amateur radio contests, and the organizations supporting them.  More information can be found on the ARRL website at http://www.arrl.org/awards/ysqso/.

The sponsors of the Arizona QSO Party hope that this year, in support of the Year of the State QSO Party, that individuals and club stations inside and outside Arizona will participate.  We also hope that the many ARRL officials and appointees in the state will join this fun contest!
